VMwire is dedicated to bringing virtualisation news and resources to the world.  VMwire started in 2005 as part of a small project to document my interests with virtualisation.  I have worked with VMware ESX since version 2 and am now designing and deploying VI3, vSphere and vCloud environments and leading implementation, migration and testing teams in large project programs.  Of course virtualisation is not just VMware, there is of course storage virtualisation, capacity planning, backup, BC and DR, and VM management and operations as well, and I hope to bring my experiences to this site.

I currently work for VMware and I’d like to keep it that way so the opinions and ideas published on this blog are my own and not the opinions of my employer or any of the vendors of the products discussed.
